MochiAds has partnered with Dictionary.com to bring you $15,000 in prizes. The theme of the contest, not surprisingly, is word games.

Selected by a panel of 4 judges, the first place winner will receive $7,000 for their hard work. Second and third place bring in a nice $4,000 and $2,000 prize, respectively. Two honorable mentions will receive $1,000 apiece.

There’s a couple of rule you need to follow to enter the contest, so pay attention. Your game must:

  • Use the MochiAds version control service.
  • Incorporate MochiAds advertisements and leaderboards.
  • Be enabled for distribution.
  • Be tagged with dictionary.com.
  • Be a word themed game.

Now, the good news. If your game wins the contest, you aren’t required to add in a splash screen to your game. All you have to do is include Dictionary.com presents above your game’s title. This means that you can still get your game sponsored when entering the contest, which is very nice news for developers.

Contest ends August 14th, so start working on those word games. Check out the contest page for official details.
