If you are like most flash game developers, you’ve probably realized by now that in-game ads are becoming more and more accepted in flash games. As the concept gets bigger, so will the number of ad companies. I’ve already talked about others such as MochiAds, CPMstar, and GameJacket before. Today I’m going to be talking about one you’ve probably never heard of; Ad4Game. Ad4Game is a relatively new service to the in-game advertising scene that offers preloader and mid-game advertisements. I talked to one of their representives about their service and what it had to offer.

The first thing he said that really caught my attention was that they will give you 10% advance on revenues based on the amount your game sells a sponsorship for. This means that if you sell a sponsorship for $5,000 they will give you an advance of $500 in exchange for you using their advertising system exclusively for just 6 months. Of course any money over the 10% that you make will be yours to keep.

Now about the money. The eCPM seems to range anywhere from $0.25 to the $1.50-$2.00 range. This comes from them offering a 55% revenue share, which is a healthy 5% more than most other advertising networks. If you sign an exclusivity agreement to stay with their service for at least 6 months though, they will boost the revenue share to 65%! Payments seem to be pretty quick and are paid out on the first business day of the month. Ad4Game pays net 0 through paypal mass pay, which means that no paypal fees will be deducted from you to recieve the money.

Overall it seems like a pretty viable option for in-game ads. If you want to check out more about it, you can visit their site here.
