To get to that point, you’re probably going to need to look through a lot of tutorials. I am a programmer and this list of tutorials are very interesting. In fact, I have followed through with some tutorials and I am very much interested. Soon, I will be making a lot more interesting and fun flash games.

the alexa ranking is not too fair in this list, because some sites (like adobe) have high ranking for other reasons (branding, or other services) than the tutorials

My personal choice is http://say-web.com/ where all tutorials have a video screen shot, most high definitions, (HD) and is extensive on action script. Say Web Tutorial also provides the source code, extensively documented for customization. Currently http://say-web.com/ is my personal choice, second to CartoonSmart.com
