A new handheld gaming unit called Wiz has recently been announced. The handheld console runs a Linuz operating system, and features a 533 MHz processor and 64 MB of RAM. The screen is about 2.8 inches and the battery is expected to last for around 5 hours. Games for the WIz will come from third party developers. You can even store your favorite Atari, NES, and other game console games onto it. Since the Wiz will be open source, people have already begun developing new and exciting applications onto it.

Now you’re probably wondering, why would a flash blog write about the Wiz? It is going to come with Flash Player 7. That’s right, people could be playing your flash games on it when it releases around the middle of October. You can read more about it here.
